Support Engineer

We are currently hiring a Support Engineer to join our team.

For the Support Engineer position, the ideal candidate must have at least five years of progressive experience working in the Information Technology field as a Support Engineer / Analyst capacity. They should possess excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate should possess characteristics of being patience, positive, customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment where constructive feedback is encouraged. A self – starter mindset is highly desirable.

The role will span support functions from Level 1 to Level 3 across various production platforms. The candidate should be able to analyze root cause issues and work with team member to articulate a solution for resolution. Some technical documentation will be required as part of daily function.

Additionally, the Support Engineer position must demonstrate a strong technical understanding and aptitude of various hardware, software, peripherals and networking systems being supported such as Windows 7 to Windows 10 operating systems, MS Office 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems, desktop imaging concepts, VoIP – Voice over IP, supporting numerous vendor and custom applications.

Ability to lift object where required and availability to be on call during off hours and weekends when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • * Associates 's degree in Computer Science or and / or 3 – 5 years' equivalent work experience
  • * Experience with supporting Office 365
  • * Certifications: A+, PCI not required, but a plus
  • * Experience with various monitoring tools / Remote management
  • * VOIP phone technology
  • * Polycomm / Video Conf. technologies
  • * Desktop / laptop build process
  • * Imaging / Cloning technologies
  • * Virtual Desktops Technologies
  • * Experience with rack / stack / cable
