Underwriting Analyst (Personal Injury Experience)

Echelon offers liquidity solutions for medical receivables and medical liens. With its various products, Echelon offers innovative and superior liquidity solutions for the medical industry including doctors, hospitals, and surgery centers.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with medical staff in order to move case submissions from intake through funding.
Underwrite and evaluate new case submission, including review of medical bills, medical records and liability documentation.
Provide support directly to underwriting attorneys.
Run related case searches using Pacer, Attorney Bar websites and docket searches.
Update database and networks with additional information received.


Paralegal certificate helpful but not required.  Experience at a personal injury firm or litigation underwriting experience and ability to perform docket and attorney searches in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. is preferred.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining professional, quality work product. High effective project management skills with a self-starter aptitude and the ability to be self-directed.
Must have professional phone skills and computer proficiency, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail a must.


Bachelor's degree preferred
Paralegal Certificate preferred
